Backwards Breakfast w/ evaD, ylleK, & nedyaH

Dave, Kelly & Hayden invited us to a backwards day yesterday. Everyone wore their clothing backwards, except for Moriah who didn't think "it would look good to wear our clothes wrong". Kelly prepared an amazing feast fit for royalty. Delicious blueberry pancakes, sausage links, eggs, potatoes, and juice.
Because it was Backwards Day, we enjoyed eating our pancakes with syrup and whipped cream and powdered sugar first, it was dessert. The girls ate picnic style on the floor and watched Tale of Despereaux.

Hayden & Jesse stayed in the kitchen in their highchairs....wouldn't want to stain the new carpet with blueberry juice or sausage grease!!

After our meal, we relaxed in front of the tv. The kids began to wrestle around. It was quite entertaining. Hayden and Salena seemed to hit it off quite well...even giving each other loves.

By the end of the evening, all of us were full of delicious food in our stomachs and full of love and thankfulness in our hearts.
I am so grateful for family like Dave & Kelly. They have gone out of their way to make this time without Jesse easier on us. Always checking on us and making sure that the kids have fun memories to talk to daddy about when he returns.
All our love to Dave, Kelly, & Hayden! Thank you so much!!!

Oh, I so wish we could have been there too! It looks like you guys had a blast! Dave and Kelly are so great and helpful, what a blessing! I know when Dom was gone and I was left to pack the house myself, they helped me a ton! I am glad they are there for you too! What a blessing to have family nearby! I am jealous. LOL

I love your blog! Thanks so much for keeping it updated and everything. You are amazing sis! Your strength and endurance during this time is truly a testimony of His grace! It blesses me to see you out there doing things so much with your kiddos and challenges me to be a better mommy myself. I love you lots! I really do! Everytime I read new posts, or hear how you are doing I get teary eyed :( and the thought of missing out on those kiddos growing up is something I cannot even express because it is so hard for me! But HE knows and His strength is what gets me through and comforts me as I am sure it does with you too! Be blessed!
