I finally caved in and let Jesse color with markers for the 1st time and I was so impressed at how organized and focused he was. He sat/stood at the table with his little bowl of markers and his piece of construction paper and would take one marker out and color with it, then he would put the lid back on, return the marker to the bowl, and then pick another color. Always one at a time. Jesse stayed focused on creating his masterpiece for over an hour and did not get down from the chair even once. His attention span shocked me!!!
